The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim trailer online

Skyrim DragonBorn

On Bethesda Software’s YouTube channel and on The Elder Scrolls website, an official trailer has finally been released. Bethesda, who were behind the making of Fallout 3 and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, have been developing the Elder Scroll sequel for many years and without a doubt this glimpse into what can be expected, will arise excitement in many fans.

The over two-minute long trailer shows actual game play and gives us a taste of what is to come. There are numerous details visible in this trailer: the return of horses, in-depth character design; more powerful and playable magic and, of course, dragons. More of the soundtrack can be heard and needless to say it adds to the whole epic scenes shown, making the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. The landscapes look more breathtaking than the screen shots had originally shown. You glimpse some of the dwellings and towns which, like in Oblivion, were different from each other.

It’s fair to say everything is appearing better than expected. Maybe Peter Molyneux should take a leaf out of Bethesda’s book, on how to exceed expectations…

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will be released on the 11th November 2011.
