New online Comic, The Thrill Electric, to preview at MCM Expo

This May’s London MCM Expo is rapidly approaching and we at Buzz are excited to announce that this year The Thrill Electric a brand new online romance, cyberbullying and fanboys victorian style comic will previewing at the event. The comic’s writers Leah Moore and John Reppion along with character designer Emma Vieceli, producer Andy Mettam and some of the artists will be heading up a panel from the brand new all female comic book outfit Wildflower Studio in association with Hat Trick Productions and Channel 4 at next month’s show.

The Thrill Electric follows teenager Emily Bennet as she embarks on a new career in Victorian Manchester in the exciting new Electric Telegraph Company. All big technological advances come hand in hand with a new set of problems and for Emily those problems are similar to those of our own internet age teaming with romance, cyberbullying and fanboys. Emily’s exciting and vibrant world is explored over 10 weeks both online and on Apple mobile devices and is brought to life through enhanced panels, 3D scrolling and ambient soundscapes.

Created by some of the very best names in the UK comics industry The Thrill Electric won’t hit screens until October this year but with a sneak peak at this May’s event and a panel oozing with talent this Expo is already set to Thrill.
