Stalls at London Expo: Manga Entertainment

Manga Entertainment are a common sight at the London MCM Expo and have two separate stalls this May. One can be found selling a lot of classics on DVD at bargain prices, such as Appleseed for £2 and Ghost in the Shell 2.0 for £1, while the other is selling a crop of current titles.

Jerome Mazandarani of Manga Entertainment revealed that the Naruto Shippüden DVD box set (for £35) is proving to be one of their big sellers during the Expo. Selling for £17, “the Summer Wars blu-ray movie double pack is doing really well,” said Jerome of one of their best selling blu-ray titles, with Summer Wars being a personal recommendation of his.

Other personal recommendations of his include the first season of Eden of the East for £15 on DVD (£20 on blu-ray), as well as the movie, Eden of the East The King of Eden, which is available for £10 on DVD (£15 on blu-ray).

Highlights include Corpse Princess on DVD for £15 and Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence on blu-ray for £8. Jerome also mentioned that a lot of people were asking for Evangelion 2.22, which is out to buy from June 20th, and High School of the Dead, which Manga aren’t releasing till August 29th. He then let slip, “our T-Shirts are doing pretty well as well.” That’s right, there’s a cool selection of T-shirts too.
