Capcom prepares a Resident Evil 15th Anniversary Box Set

Capcom have put together an awesome looking bundle in honour of the 15th anniversary of Resident Evil.

Known simply as the “Resident Evil 15th Anniversary Box“, the limited edition bundle contains the following games that are sure to leave fans salivating like a zombie in a crowded shopping centre:

•Resident Evil Director’s Cut (PS1)
•Resident Evil 2 (PS1)
•Resident Evil 3 Last Escape (PS1)
•Resident Evil Revival Selection (PS3)
•Resident Evil Code: Veronica soundtrack
•Resident Evil 4 soundtrack
•15th anniversary items: Pins & Stickers (STARS & Umbrella)
•Spacer for PS3’s Resident Evil 5 or Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition

As you can see, the pack contains the upcoming Playstation 3 release, Resident Evil Revival Selection, featuring HD versions of Code: Veronica and Resident Evil 4. Both games will be available to download from XBOX Live and the Playstation Network this autumn.

There is however one setback to this awesome box of Resi goodness – it is currently only available in Japan. It is also unknown whether the box set will be making its way onto western shores or whether the quarantine level is too high (cheesy joke, sorry!).

The Resident Evil 15th Anniversary Box will be released exclusively through Capcom‘s e-Capcom store in Japan on September 8th for the price of 7,800 Yen (about £60). Until we get more news though, you can enjoy the trailer for Revival Selection that Capcom have recently revealed, showing off the new HD visuals.
