KBS Music Bank Paris Cancels Concert Date!

MCM Buzz had previously reported news about a two day Kpop concert being held in France, the KBS Music Bank in Paris, which would include a huge line up of big names in the Kpop industry. Unfortunately, through Soompi.com it has been announced that KBS Music Bank have decided to cancel their Kpop Music Festival concert on the 9th February. The show will however still go ahead on 8th February.

KBS stated, “The Concert “Music Bank K-Pop Festival in Paris” is a production that requires a lot of infrastructure and logistics. More than what we expected. We will not be able to clear the room in time and dismantling hours without affecting the operational schedule of the room. We are therefore obliged to cancel the show on February 9. Tickets are refundable or exchangeable for February 8 in the outlets where they were purchased.”

An official procedure has been announced for people who own a ticket for the concert. The choices are a full refund or a complete exchange for seats at the concert on 8th February. Refunds will be available from the 23rd December but if you are exchanging your ticket, be prepared to be disappointed, as you will not be able to claim the same seats you have bought.

If you have bought your ticket online from the website Fnac then you must send the ticket back to the address from where it came. Include a letter with the 16 numbers of the card used to buy the ticket and the expiration date, along with your full name and address. The address you need to send your ticket and information to are:

Back office

If you bought on Digitick, then the whole procedure is to be done directly on Digitick.com. Having bought your ticket in-store (Fnac, Carrefour, Giant) you can go to the customer help desk, and they should explain and sort out everything for you. Ticketnet customers need to go to the exact shop where they purchased the tickets, and those who purcahsed tickets at Auchan, then they can only be exchanged or refunded at Auchan.

This can be frustrating for those looking forward to the concert, and especially for those that had planned and paid for everything in advance. Hopefully any Kpop fans who have been effected by this will not be too disheartened, as I am very sure there will be plenty of Kpop concerts coming to Europe for 2012.
