Assassin’s Creed Revelations: Lost Archive DLC

Ever notice in the Animus Island that two of the archways Desmond could walk through never actually did anything? Well with Microsoft confirming its DLC release dates until the end of the month, we can now confirm that there is some Assassin’s Creed Revelations single player content on its way.

Titled the Lost Archive, it will set you back 1600MSP on the Xbox Live Marketplace and £9.99 on the Playstation Network. Gamestop customers received an email recently confirming the amounts but it is with Microsoft’s forecast for the month of release dates which confirms the DLC’s release on 28th February.

It is still unconfirmed as to what the content of the game will be. The title itself denotes perhaps some more artifacts found by Ezio to re-live Altair’s memories or perhaps a more hidden, hidden tomb in the hidden tomb. Either way as much as I would like to see some more action with Altair, the versatility of Ezio with all the features available make him the sensible choice of protagonist for this extra content.

Previously there has been little development for Desmond in the extra DLC packages, Ubisoft being happy to wrap up his story at the end of each game. But with hysteria and hype building already after Assassin’s Creed 3 had its launch date confirmed (October 30th), it wouldn’t necessarily be a surprise if there was some development or teaser included for the next game.
