Letraset Announces the May Manga Alley Art Competition

The May MCM Expo is quickly drawing closer and details of some of the fantastic events and competitions that are going to be available are starting to trickle out. And speaking of trickling out, I am pleased to be able to announce that Letraset will once again be hosting the Manga Alley Art Competition, and this May’s theme is ‘Splish-Splash’.

It could be boats, submarines, fish, bathtubs, a water based mech or pretty much anything related to water. It could be a depiction of water, a use of water or even the very idea of water in its many forms. Letraset wants you to be as creative as possible in how you interpret the theme and the more imaginative the idea the better.

The competition will be open to everyone, and be split into over 16 and under 16 categories. Those categories will then be divided further, into those pieces made on the day and those pre made. Winners will receive over £120 worth of Letraset products, and there will be smaller prizes for the runners up.

The Prize includes:

Tria 24 Set
Digital Tones Set
Screen Tone Project Kit
Comic Fonts CD
Fine Liner Pen
A4 Bleedproof Pad

There will also be a Young Star award Given to the favourite entry by a person under 11 years old.
