Forza Horizon details emerge before E3

Screenshots and details of Turn 10’s upcoming game, Forza Horizon, have emerged thanks to German website Forza Life. The site pulled the details from the latest issue of GamePro Germany, and there’s a lot to look forward to for fans of the series.

According to the site, Forza Horizon will feature the realistic physics of Forza Motorsport 4 with some tweaks added for fun off road driving. There will be 65 types of terrain to drive on, including mud, grass and gravel.

The open world racer set in Colorado will feature real sights from Colorado, as well as gas stations, paint shops and car dealerships on the streets. Day/night cycles will also be present when playing, and are sure to make the beautiful panoramic views even more spectacular when racing.

Perhaps the most interesting piece of information about the upcoming game is the inclusion of planes to the series. Whether or not we’ll actually be flying around Colorado in Forza Horizon is uncertain. I for one am getting the image of an amazing Top Gear-esque challenge though!

According to the site, Forza Horizon will screech into stores on the 23rd of October. Be sure to check for more information as it is released during E3 next week though, and let us know your thoughts on the upcoming game in the comments below!
