Ratchet: Gladiator to receive the HD treatment

Earlier today developer Insomniac Games revealed at PAX that the fourth title in the Ratchet & Clank series – Gladiator, or Deadlocked to those outside of Europe – will officially be receiving the HD treatment to join the rest of the trilogy and will be available exclusively on PSN.

Originally released in 2005, it was the last Ratchet & Clank game made for the PS2 and was the only title not included in the HD collection released earlier this year.

Insomniac also announced that they’ll be releasing hand-numbered and signed screenprints that will go on sale over at iam8bit.com

Gladiator saw a much darker Ratchet & Clank title as it focused on a game show called Dreadzone and contestants were forced to kill each other. Also, this was the first installment where Clank was not a playable character.

Will you be picking up Gladiator HD to build your growing Ratchet & Clank collection or will you be skipping it? Let us know in the comments below.
