Pokémon X and Y: New Images and Info

Hey PokeFans, Consider us your new Pokedex because we’ve got the first known info on Pokemon from the new games, Pokemon X and Y. Straight from Nintendo we’ve got some new images of the games Legendary Pokemon, along with their weight and heights to give you a better idea of the scale of these new creatures. How do they stack up to those in Black and White? Read on to find out.

First up is Xerneus (ZURR-nee-us), the Legendary from Pokemon X. Appearing to be modeled after something akin to a reindeer, it stands 3 metres high and weighs 215 Kg.

Next up is Yvetal (ee-VELL-tawl), the Legendary from Pokemon Y. Seemingly modeled after some hybrid of a dragon and a bird, is 5.8 metres tall and weighs 203 Kg

We’ve also received some nice new images of the games starter Pokemon, Fennekin (Fire), Chespin (Grass) and Froakie (water), complete with a rock-paper-scissors diagram of which is effective against which. While this will be familiar to Pokemon fans, it’s always good to brush up on the basics.

There we have it. Are you a current Pokemon fan or someone looking to get back in to the series? We would love to hear your thoughts on the new legendary Pokemon and starters. Which game will you be getting based on its Legendary? What’s your opinion on the starters compared to previous starter Pokemon? Do you always pick the same element as your starter? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below while you wait for October.
