Lego CUUSOO today revealed the Ghostbusters as their chosen project from their Fall 2013 Review. The announcement came via their YouTube channel in a video hosted by Lego CUUSOO community specialist Sara Moore. She revealed that the Ghostbusters 30th Anniversary project from Brent Waller has been chosen over six other sets in competition. Other sets included a Wizard of Oz set entitled The Road to Oz.

Lego CUUSOO (CUUSOO translates to WISH in Japanese) is a group that allows Lego enthusiasts to submit their ideas on the Lego CUUSOO website and have the public vote which projects they want to see produced. Once the projects reach 10,000 votes they are submitted to Lego CUUSOO for their quarterly review. Previous Lego CUUSOO collections have included a Minecraft set based on the popular video game as well as creating the time travelling DeLorean from the Back to the Future franchise.

Lego have stated that the final design, pricing and availability are still being worked out, but it is on track to hit shelves later this year.
