Nintendo Raring to Release Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire

Heroes of Hoenn, prepare to return to stormy weather, angry Wingulls and towering legendaries as Nintendo have announced the release of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire for 3DS and 2DS systems! Over ten years since the release of the original Ruby and Sapphire it looks as though the Game Boy Advance classics will be making their way to the little screens this November. Wow, Nintendo really don’t Slakoth (sorry).

In the above teaser trailer for these upcoming remakes, players are told to “explore a dramatic new world”. Whatever this means when it comes to changes from the original games, the original Ruby and Sapphire versions were a stellar instalment in the Pokémon franchise. With memorable characters and companions to meet in each city, the first Pokémon competitions and some kick-ass water type Pokémon, the original games boasted a host of exciting features in a classic Pokémon story. One thing that is certain is that Hoenn’s glistening waters, treetop towns and volatile volcanoes would look incredible on the new systems. Also, let’s hope this will mark a return for the secret base… but if it is don’t tell anyone!

Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire will be sailing over with Mr. Briney to your 3DS and 2DS Systems worldwide this November.
