Bandai Namco announced a new Dragon Ball Z game for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles during E3.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse will feature fierce battles against all of the iconic enemies from the series, including, Frieza, Cell and Majin Buu, but it is currently unknown whether the Super Saiyan God form will make an appearance. The addition of a new mystery fighter to the game also hints towards an original story being playable in the upcoming title.

Dimps, the creators of the original Dragon Ball Z: Budokai series on PS2 are behind Xenoverse, however the game features the 3D battles made famous in Spike’s Tenkaichi and Raging Blast series.

The game is currently in a very early stage of development with no release date given, but real-time transformations are already confirmed to be possible during battles.
