Bloomsbury reveals final four Harry Potter jackets from Jonny Duddle‏

Continuing the phenomenal success of JK Rowling’s Harry Potter books, Bloomsbury will be bringing the series to a whole new generation later this year with all new illustrations and content.

Award-winning artist Jonny Duddle has brought his own unique style to the covers, capturing some of the most exciting and important moments from the books. Whether it be Harry, Dumbledore or Voldemort, these are characters we all know so well and, as with any classic book series, the tales deserve to be passed down from one generation to the next.

Come 1st September, all books will be available in hardback and paperback form, as well as eBook format available from Pottermore. The online website is presented by Rowling and designed to keep the Potter world alive with in-depth content which will also be included in the books. Most recently fans have been treated to a contribution from Rowling describing Potter and his friends in their thirties, but the author has claimed she has no real plans to do any ‘future’ books to continue the main story.

As well as any literary contributions to the Potter franchise, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter has recently seen a highly popular expansion open between Universal Studios and Islands Of Adventure in Florida, including the Hogwarts Express, Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts ride, and replicas of Diagon Alley and parts of London, including Kings Cross. Wait times were last seen at 300 minutes+ for Gringotts so it’s certainly clear that the passion and enthusiasm for Rowling’s works stretch far beyond their end back in 2007.

What’s next for Harry Potter is anyone’s guess. Rowling is enjoying success under her pen name Robert Galbraith, writing crime novels, but we do know that Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, the 2001 ‘textbook’ from the Potter series, will be adapted for the big screen in the near future and shot at the Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden in the U.K., home to the Harry Potter Studio Tour. Whether Rowling writes more books or not, the future looks bright in many ways for Harry Potter fans.
