Over the Top Wrestling begins a revolution in Dublin!

Wrestling, especially as of late, has seen to be somewhat of a family friendly event, especially with the rise of the “PG-Era” in WWE. One independent wrestling company in Dublin looks to challenge all of that with what they are calling a “revolution”.

On Friday 3rd October, at the locally famous Tivoli Theatre venue, Over The Top Wrestling presents F*CK PG – its debut event! Having previously performed at MCM Ireland Comic Con, the crew at OTT Wrestling looks to become a permanent residence in Dublin, with a show every month! The show claims to be a mixture of “classic horror films, classic lucha libre, and American hard core wrestling”and by jove, it seems like it’s going to deliver on that promise!

Fans have been clamouring for some time for gritty, down-to-earth local wrestling events to attend, and if you’re in South Dublin, OTT Wrestling should have you filling your boots in no time at all. Don’t just take it from us, have a look at the promotional video:

Now, that should get you really excited! British and Irish wrestling as a whole has been very scarce in the past few years, with very few promotions taking regular residency, so as a fan, you could possibly see two or three independent shows a year. But now, with the advent of OTT Wrestling, South Dublin fans now have a show a month to look forward to!

The events look to be a spectacle of grand proportion, but also a great night out. Judging by the action that took place at MCM Ireland, the wrestlers seem to be very keen on getting the crowd loud and involved, creating a fantastic atmosphere, which is what every wrestling fan should strive for, as any wrestling event is made even better with a raucous crowd.

With wrestlers such as “The Northern Irish Nightmare” Tron, OMEN, “The Lord of the Manor” Paul Tracey amongst many other Irish and British wrestling up and comers and mainstays, it seems that OTT Wrestling will challenge many conventions modern wrestling has set in place. In fact it seems almost like a throwback to the independent era of the 1990s Hammerstein Ballroom, as well as the old time travelling circus acts. In fact, OTT Wrestling promises to be all that and more, bringing a unique combination of elements never seen before, and it will be arriving on 3rd October!
