Pokémon ORAS Super Music Collection Now Available on iTunes

After the hugely successful launch of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire in November, the official soundtrack to the games has now been released for download via iTunes.

Selling over three million copies worldwide during their first three days of sale and achieving the biggest ever launch of a Pokémon game in the UK, Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire now rank among the most successful games in the series. Offering a new take on the franchise’s third generation, the games return players to the much-loved Hoenn region in an update packed full of stunning 3DS visuals and exciting new features.

The Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire Super Music Collection is comprised of an amazing 160 tracks from the games. Inspired by Japan’s main island, Kyushu, each track has been lovingly re-imagined by GAME FREAK composers including Junichi Masuda and Shota Kageyama. According to the official press release,

“The latest Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 2DS technology has allowed GAME FREAK’s composers to create a soundtrack that evokes the beauty and mystery of Hoenn and brings to life the Trainer’s adventures along the way.”

The album is priced at £7.99, with individual songs available for £0.79.

In other news, classic episodes of the Pokémon anime TV series have now been made available on Amazon Fire TV. Already available on iTunes, Netflix, Amazon Prime and the Pokémon TV app, this new platform adds to the numerous ways Pokéfans can enjoy the show at home or on the move.
