Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX coming to the US and Europe May 2015

Hatsune Miku Project Mirai DX (UK Cover)Last year it was reported that Sega would be bringing an enhanced version of Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai 2 to the west for the Nintendo 3DS. Release dates, box art and a trailer for the now titled Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX have now been revealed.

Along with Miku, the game features the characters Rin, Len, Luka, Meiko, Kaito and Gumi, who are given a cute Nendoroid makeover. With 48 full length versions of songs available, the Vocaloid based rhythm game has “Touch Mode” and “Button Mode”, where players can use either the touch screen or the buttons, hitting markers during each song.

As well as unlocking costumes and items for each characters room, they can also watch their favourite videos, create their own dance routines in the Dance Studio and compose their own songs in My Tune. Plus the game will utilise StreetPass, allowing you to share customisable player cards that show off your favourite character, song and dance routines.
