UK launch for BBC Doctor Who Comic

Digital Doctor Who Comic regenerates into an exclusive UK print title…

Back in Issue 27 of MyM magazine we chatted exclusively to editor Andrew James and head of Titan Comics Steve White, to get an in-depth look at Titan Magazines’ BBC Doctor Who Comic.

Spanning three different versions of the Time Lord in separate but occasionally connected stories, these comics hit the newsstand in America but were only available as digital downloads here in the UK. Until now!

BBC Doctor Who Comic UK Issue 1 cover Peter Capaldi

The UK is finally getting a print version of BBC Doctor Who Comic, which will feature stories from the Tenth, Eleventh and Twelfth Doctors in every issue. The Tenth Doctor has been left to deal with the aftermath of Donna Noble’s heartbreaking farewell, the Eleventh Doctor finds himself on a collision course with a terrifying cosmic threat, while Peter Capaldi’s Twelfth Doctor and Clara Oswald set off on a brand new adventure in the Tardis.

Each month top writers and artists will feature their amazing renditions of the Gallifreyan hero, including Eisner Award-winning Nick Abadzis (Laika), fan-favourite Elena Casagrande (Angel, Star Trek), Al Ewing (Loki: Agent Of Asgard), Rob Williams (Trifecta), Simon Fraser (Grindhouse), Eagle award-winning writer Robbie Morrison (The Authority, 2000AD) and Dave Taylor (Batman: Death By Design, 2000AD).

Issue one of BBC Doctor Who Comic launches on 26 February 2015 and a new issue will be available every four weeks in supermarkets, WH Smiths and independent newsagents. Each issue costs £3.99 and you can find out more at
