Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Elizabeth Henstrige heading to MCM London Comic Con this May

Agent-Simmons-Elizabeth-HenstridgeS.H.I.E.L.D agent, Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) will be heading to MCM London Comic Con this May.

Elizabeth grew up in Sheffield, where she chose to persue an acting career. She studied Drama and Theatre Arts at the University of Birmingham and then went on to train at East 15 Acting School in London. Soon after graduating, she moved to Los Angeles, where within six weeks of arriving she had booked a leading role in J.J Abrams and Mark Schwan’s CW pilot, Shelter. In her first year she had culminated filming with Sylvester Stallone in the feature film Reach Me, after which she was offered the role of Agent Jemma Simmons in Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Jemma Simmons is a rising star in S.H.I.E.L.D’s research division for being a genius bio-chemist, along with her friend and partner, Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker). The two are often found bickering, but nonetheless are always together. Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is currently in its second season, which is broadcast here in the UK on Channel 4.
