Flash/Arrow/Legends Of Tomorrow Cast Their Hawkman

Hawkman is set to join the roster of superheroes populating the ever-growing mini on-screen DC-universe that’s been created by the CW shows The Flash, Arrow and the forthcoming Legends Of Tomorrow.

falk_hentschelFalk Hentschel (Reckless) has been cast as Carter Hall aka Hawkman, according to the Hollywood Reporter. He will first appear in a crossover episode of Arrow and The Flash this Autumn before becoming a major cast member in the spin-off Legends Of Tomorrow, which is set to debut at midseason. There he’ll join Hawkgirl (Ciara Renée) who was briefly seen in the season one finale of The Flash.

This version of Hawkman (there have been a few in the DC universe) has the ability to tap into the powers of the Hawk God, Horus.

Legends of Tomorrow stars Doctor Who’s Arthur Darvill as the time-traveling  Rip Hunter who assembles a motley group of heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable, immortal threat. As well the Hawk duo, these include The Atom (Brandon Routh), White Canary (Caity Lotz), Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell) and Firestorm (Victor Garber*). Franz Drameh also stars as Jay Jackson.

(*There’s still some mystery surrounding the fact that the actor playing the other half of Firestorm’s dual identity – Robbie Amell – hasn’t been announced for the show, despite the fact he’s definitely back for season two of The Flash.)

Here’s the trailer for Legends Of Tomorrow. It looks bonkers…
