Six Million Dollar Man Lee Majors To Appear At MCM Birmingham Comic Con

LEE MAJORS - approved headshot for pressGet ready to run in slow motion over to the signing queue – Lee Majors, the man who made Steve Austin a TV legend in The Six Million Dollar Man has been confirmed as a guest for both days for MCM Birmingham Comic Con on 21-22 November. This will be his UK Comic Con debut.

Majors starred in The Six Million Dollar Man from 1974-1978 as the astronaut who was rebuilt as “stronger, faster” cyborg following a test flight crash. With two bionic legs, a bionic arm an a bionic eye he had super strength, super speed and super sight. Enlisted as an agent for the OSI (Office for Scientific Investigation) he was sent out on mission by his boss Oscar Goldman, and fought such enemies as Bigfoot (yes, the Bigfoot) and the Death Probe.

Lee Majors reprised the role in spin-off series The Bionic Woman, as well as co-starring with Lindsay Wagner in a trio of feature-length specials – The Return of the Six Million Dollar Man and the Bionic Woman (1987), Bionic Showdown (1989) and Bionic Ever After? (1994).

Lee Majors is also fondly remembered for playing Hollywood stuntman-turned-bounty hunter Colt Seavers in The Fall Guy and Heath Barkley in ’60s western series The Big Valley. Other credits include Alias Smith and Jones, The Virginian, and The Love Boat and more recently Weeds, Community and Grey’s Anatomy.
