BUZZ News Shorts: Star Wars, Fifth Wave, William Shatner & More

• Here’s the trailer for yet another movie based on a YA book series, Fifth Wave. This one stars Chloe Moretz (Hit Girl in Kick-Ass, Let Me In) and appears to have been edited together from a buch of other trailers. Moretz is great, though, and Maze Runner was much (much) better than its trailers suggested so maybe it’ll be worth a look.

• Another trailer, this time for a new mobile phone game Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes. If you’re wondering how it fits into the new Star Wars canon (now that all Star Wars spin-off have to adhere to BIG PLAN!) this one has a Get Out Of Jail Free card – apparently the game itself exists as a game within the Star Wars universe. • And yet another trailer, this time for season two of The Librarians, the Syfy show that makes you wonder why they cancelled Warehouse 13

• The live viewing figures for the second episode of Fear The Walking Dead were down in the States – 10.1 million to 8.2 million – but it still beat Sunday Night Football on NBC, which is a hell of feat for a cable channel. A feat only achieved before by, guess what? The Walking Dead. [via Deadline]

• Showbiz411 reports that the original William Shatner is set to write an official biography of Leonard Nimoy. The book’s tentative title is Leonard: A 50 Year Friendship and will be published in 2016. Though considering the novels that Shatner’s “written” we suspect there may be ghosts involved.

• HBO has announced a new book, Game Of Thrones: The Noble Houses of Westeros. It will be a detailed guide to the major Houses that inhabit the world of Game of Thrones, filled with information on each House’s sigil, history, home, family tree, character profiles, weapons, costumes and more. It will be available in the UK from 13 October. [via]
