Maisie Williams And David Benioff Make Emmy Comments On Jon Snow In Game Of Thrones Season 6

Is denial a spoiler? Maisie Williams – Arya Stark in Game Of Thrones – soundly denies all those rumours that Jon Snow will return from the dead in season six in this interview conducted at the Emmys last night by TVLine. She also talks about Arya having to adjust to losing her sight at the end of season five (“she may be fighting blind”) and how shooting Doctor Who compares to shooting Games Of Thrones.

Meanwhile, David Benioff made a silent comment on the fate of Jon Snow during the Emmys ceremony itself. Yesterday was also Game Of Thrones creator George RR Martin’s 67 birthday, and Emmy’s host Andy Samberg congratulated the author, who was in the audience, joking that, “Thanks for telling me during the commercial that Jon Snow is alive.” Just behind them, Game Of Thrones producer David Benioff could be seen shaking his head wearily.
