The Good Dinosaur Speaks! New Trailer

Ironically, it’s thanks to a Spanish language trailer that we first get to hear the dinosaurs in Pixar’s The Good Dinosaur speak… in English. Ah, what a crazy world of international marketing we live in. The text, by the way translates as, “What if an asteroid had not killed  the dinosaurs.” Then, “One moment can change everything.” Which handily explains why there’s a human running around with giant reptiles.

In Pixar’s The Good Dinosaur a friendly Apatosaurus named Arlo, voiced by Raymond Ochoa (The Night Shift, Rizzoli & Isles) makes friends with a human child. While traveling through a harsh and mysterious landscape, Arlo learns the power of confronting his fears and discovers what he is truly capable of.

A future pub trivia question will be: name two Pixar characters previously voiced by the director of The Good Dinosaur, Peter Sohn? If you said Emile from Ratatouille and Scott “Squishy” Squibbles from Monsters University award yourself bonus points.

The voice cast also includes Jeffrey Wright (The Hunger Games: Mockingjay), Steve Zahn (Treme, Silverman), AJ Buckley (Murder In The First, Justified), Anna Paquin (True Blood, X-Men), Sam Elliot (Justified, The Big Lebowski). Frances McDormand (Olive Kitteridge, Fargo), Marcus Scribner (black•ish), and Jack Bright (Monsters University).

The Good Dinosaur is due for release in the UK on 27 November.
