Robert Aramayo••• Upcoming young actor Robert Aramayo has been booked for a role Game Of Thrones season six, though there’s no information on his character yet. He can soon be seen in the forthcoming film The Tourist and HBO mini-series Lewis And Clark. [via Deadline]

••• Rings, the belated follow-up to the US version of The Ring and The Ring Two, has had its release date pushed back from November to an unspecified 2016 release. Rings stars Alex Roe as Holt, a young man who becomes distant from his girlfriend (Matilda Lutz) after watching a certain videotape. F Javier Gutiérrez (Before The Fall) directs and a key character from the original will be putting in an appearance. ••• A leading American actors’ union has slammed HBO series Westworld for issuing extras with a consent form that informed them they “may be required to perform genital-to-genital touching, simulate oral sex with hand-to-genital touching, contort to form a table-like shape while being fully nude, pose on all fours while others who are fully nude ride on your back, [and] ride on someone’s back while you are both fully nude.” The SAG-AFTRA felt that the heavy-handed document didn’t make it clear that extras could refuse to perform any acts with which they weren’t comfortable. HBO hastily issued a statement, “The document that the background actors were given was created by an outside extras casting vendor. It was not requested, written or approved by HBO, Warner Bros Television, or the producers, and contains situations that we do not require of any actor. We are rectifying immediately the discrepancies in this vendor’s document with our actual on-set practices, which provide a professional and comfortable working environment for all performers.” So, less gratuitous sex on HBO? What is the world coming to?  [via The Hollywood Reporter]

••• Arrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim has told TV Insider that new character for season four Mr Terrific, aka Curtis Holt (played by Echo Kellum) quickly becomes an MVP (most valuable player) of the cast. “Curtis is someone we started talking about [in the writers room] at the end of last year, out of a desire to fill in some gaps in terms of the cast and storytelling… [he] fills the same role Brandon [Routh] filled last year. Echo has quickly become an MVP of the cast. I think a lot of people will compare him favourably to the addition of Emily [Bett Rickards] in season one. He has this wonderful energy.” Holt starts out on the show as a technological savant and inventor at Palmer Technologies under Felicity Smoak’s supervision. [via ComicBookResources]

••• Deadline has revealed a list of actresses vying for a lead role (Marion, presumably?) in Lionsgate’s Robin Hood: OriginsThe Knick’s Eve Hewson, Dutch actress Gaite Jansen (Supernova), Australian thesp Lucy Fry (Vampire Academy) and British actress Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Belle, Doctor Who). They will star opposite Taron Egerton (Kingsman: The Secret Service) in the film directed by  Peaky Blinders’ Otto Bathurst. It is apparently a “gritty, revisionist take on the legend”.
