••• Least surprising news of the year: Fox has pulled the sequel to Fantastic Four from its schedules (it had been pencilled in for 2 June 2017). Cue resurgence of rumours about rights returning to Marvel. [via Coming Soon]

••• Ben Affleck has told Variety that comics fans should expect a massive shared universe for DC’s characters on the big screen. “They are now developing… probably the single greatest under-exploited IP asset in the entertainment business, the DC comic world, and now they have started to exploit that and you are going to see that blossom. And, when it does, it’s going to be massive.”

••• Here’s the trailer for Paramount’s new animated version The Little Prince. It’s directed by Kung Fu Pandas Mark Osborne and boasts an all star voice cast that includes Jeff Bridges, Rachel McAdams, Paul Rudd, Marion Cotillard, Benicio del Toro, James Franco, Ricky Gervais, Paul Giamatti, Albert Brooks and Mackenzie Foy.

••• After confusing/annoying/teasing Game Of Thrones fans yesterday with the release of a season six poster featuring the allegedly dead Jon Snow, HBO has responded with a new poster that’s making us wonder whether the most important think on the poster is the word “April”. As in April Fool. We love it, though.
