BUZZ News Shorts: The Flash, Lucifer, Gotham & More

••• Meet the supporting characters from new Fox show Lucifer, which stars Tom Ellis (Miranda) as the devil in that little known period of his life when he decided to run a night club.

••• Fox Television president Gary Newman revealed at Television Critics Association winter tour that he’s open to the idea of spin-off series from Gotham featuring one of the show’s villains. “We’re really happy with the creative on Gotham this year.We thought the ‘Rise Of The Villains’ has been great, and it feels like a world that has many, many stories to tell… We haven’t had any conversations with Warners about whether or not they’d want to do a spin-off series… but it’s a good idea.” [via ComicBookResources]

••• Stan Lee has told The Big Issue that now Disney owns both Marvel and Lucasfilm, he can see the Avengers visiting a galaxy far, far away. “Obviously the people who produce these [movies] are looking to be as successful as possible. If they feel that incorporating Star Wars with the Marvel characters will be very successful, they’ll find a way to do it. Can you imagine Spider-Man saying, ‘May the force be with you’? It may come to that! I created the Avengers by taking many of our characters and making a team out of them. We can have as many characters join the Avengers as we want to for future movies. That might be fun, all of a sudden Luke Skywalker is an Avenger!” We can’t wait for the sparkling dialogues between Groot and Chewbacca.

••• Chris Carter has revealed that he wrote a script for a third The X-Files movie that he considered retooling for use in the new TV mini series. But he showed it to his wife who said, “I think not for television.” [via]

••• Vin Diesel has revealed the title and location of the next Fast & Furious film in his usual style… via social media.
