Major Arrowverse Character To Guest Star In DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow Episode 6

Right before you cry, “Spoilers!” this revelation is straight from an Arrowverse producer’s mouth in advance of it happening at US pace, so this is “official news” not spoilers. Though in deference to extreme spoilerphobes we’ve kept the identity of the guest star out of the headline, even though it’s all over every US meeja site: an older version of Green Arrow/Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) will appear in episode six of DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow, and he’s not aged well.

In the episode the Legends will travel to 2046 where they meet Oliver Queen, but also his son, Connor Hawke. In a reference a certain classic comic appearance of the character, Ollie now has his goatee… but he’s also lost an arm somewhere along the way.

“Every once and a while, we do an episode where the 10-year-old me has to pinch himself,” says executive producer Marc Guggenheim. “We’re not only introducing our version of Connor Hawke to our universe, we’re going to meet the 2046 version of Oliver Queen, and Stephen Amell is going to be reprising his role from Arrow. As an added bonus to comic-book fans, Oliver is missing his left arm and will be sporting a goatee, in a nod to the character’s appearance in the seminal Dark Knight Returns. We think this episode features some of the coolest things we’ve ever done.”
