HBO has released a few piccies from the episode two for Game Of Thrones season six, “Home”. At first glance they don’t seem particularly interesting – aside from the shock of, “Blimey, haven’t Bran and Meera shot up!” But there are a couple of interesting subtleties. Meera for example, is outside the Three-Eyed Raven’s lair, which we thought would be inviting a White Walker attack, so what’s going on there? Is she bait? And it looks like Edd is back as Castle Black at some point in the episode; has he brought some Wildings with him. We’re also betting that the fact Bran’s standing up has nothing to do with some miracle cure; it’s bound to be another one of his visions (is that Winterfell?).
The official synopsis goes: “Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) trains with the Three-Eyed Raven (Max von Sydow). In King’s Landing, Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) advises Tommen (Dean-Charles Chapman). Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) demands good news, but has to make his own. At Castle Black, the Night’s Watch stands behind Thorne (Owen Teale). Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon) proposes a plan, and Balon Greyjoy (Patrick Malahide) entertains other proposals.”
You can see Game Of Thrones 6.02 “Home” in the UK on Sky Atlantic, Monday, 9pm.
