It’s been revealed that Neil Gaiman is to pen the last in a series of Doctor Who short stories commissioned as part of this year’s 50th anniversary celebrations. The series is made up of eleven different stories, one featuring each incarnation of the Doctor so far. In a special announcement made yesterday, Doctor Who TV revealed that the Doctor Who 50th anniversary special, The Day of the Doctor, will be screened in 3D in a number of cinemas across the UK, Ireland, America, Canada, Germany and Russia. All UK and Ireland screenings will be timed to coincide with the episode’s TV broadcast on 23rd November. Several Vue, Cineworld, Odeon, BFI and Picturehouse venues are already on board, with more to follow...
