VIDEO Dragon Ball x Ford: An Unbelievable Fusion

VIDEO Dragon Ball x Ford: An Unbelievable Fusion
Apparently Ford has decided that the Dragon Ball generation is now old enough to be buying cars. What a shame Fiat already has a car called the Piccolo otherwise who knows where this advertising campaign may have ended? Although the Ford DBZ or Ford Goku still have a certain ring to them… Oh, and just because it seems pertinent under the circumstances here’s a clip from an old episode with Piccolo and Goku learning to drive…   • Dragon...

Dragon Ball Fan Starts Petition To Have A Planet Renamed Namek

Dragon Ball Fan Starts Petition To Have A Planet Renamed Namek
A Dragon Ball fan has set up an online petition to have the boringly-named Kepler 22-b rechristened Namek, because the planet looks similar to the home planet of Dragon Ball villain Piccolo. Lou Earley began the petition on Change.org three days ago and it’s already amassed 75,000 virtual signature. He aims to send the petition to International Astronomical Union for consideration. The planet is currently named Kepler-22b because it...

Dragon Ball Season 2 review

Dragon Ball Season 2 review
Welcome to the review of the Dragon Ball anime’s season 2 (episodes 29-57). You can find the review of Season 1 here, which is recommended reading if you’re entirely new to the Dragon Ball franchise as it covers the core characters. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend starting with this season if you’re someone who’s not seen any of the Dragon Ball franchise before, and even if you have the earlier episodes at least will lose some meaning...

Review: Dragon Ball Season 1

Review: Dragon Ball Season 1
Dragon Ball is a monster of a franchise including Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT. The original series started in 1986 and amazingly the franchise continues to produce content in the forms of comics, games and Blu-ray releases. For something as big as this, it’s hard to tell where to start. Good thing, then, that Manga has now released Season 1 of the original anime. The original Dragon Ball is an unusual thing to watch whether...

DragonBall Z for Kinect gets a trailer

DragonBall Z for Kinect gets a trailer
Namco Bandai have released a trailer for their upcoming DragonBall Z for Kinect game. Judging from the video, the game looks to be pretty much the same as the last DBZ release, Ultimate Tenkaichi, with a first person view for all of the Kinect action. Techniques such as the Kamehameha wave are used by performing the motions in front of the Kinect sensor, and battles appear to contain all that you’d expect from a standard DBZ fight, complete...

DragonBall Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi Review

DragonBall Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi Review
DragonBall Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi is the latest in a long line of DragonBall Z games. Ultimate Tenkaichi features all of the standard modes including battle, online battle and world tournament, but also has the new Hero mode which seperates it from predecessors. The story mode in Ultimate Tenkaichi takes you from the beginning of the DragonBall Z story all the way to epic final battle at the end of DragonBall GT. This looks great on paper, but the...
