Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ Super Fan Event Screening

Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ Super Fan Event Screening
Whilst the television, computer screen or even our handheld devices may be good options to check out television shows and movies , there actually isn’t nothing quite like watching a movie in the cinema. On Friday 19th June 2015, Picturehouse Central made its debut. A luxurious cinema with a thousand seats and seven screens built where Cineworld Shaftsbury Avenue previously stood. Wednesday 23rd September 2015 marked the date that Picturehouse Central...

Dragon Ball Season 2 review

Dragon Ball Season 2 review
Welcome to the review of the Dragon Ball anime’s season 2 (episodes 29-57). You can find the review of Season 1 here, which is recommended reading if you’re entirely new to the Dragon Ball franchise as it covers the core characters. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend starting with this season if you’re someone who’s not seen any of the Dragon Ball franchise before, and even if you have the earlier episodes at least will lose some meaning...

Review: Dragon Ball Season 1

Review: Dragon Ball Season 1
Dragon Ball is a monster of a franchise including Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT. The original series started in 1986 and amazingly the franchise continues to produce content in the forms of comics, games and Blu-ray releases. For something as big as this, it’s hard to tell where to start. Good thing, then, that Manga has now released Season 1 of the original anime. The original Dragon Ball is an unusual thing to watch whether...

Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z Review

Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z Review
The Dragon Ball franchise set the standard for what a Shonen battle anime should be, and the joyous emotions we can get from games which derive from those series. Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z is the latest offering in the Dragon Ball video game line-up. Battle of Z marks a new direction for the franchise, after a long relationship with Spike ended following its merger with Chunsoft. Battle of Z is the first Dragon Ball game developed by Artdink. However...

DragonBall Z: Budokai HD Collection announced

DragonBall Z: Budokai HD Collection announced
Namco Bandai have today announced the DragonBall Z: Budokai HD Collection for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 consoles. The collection will contain the popular Playstation 2 titles, Dragonball Z: Budokai and Dragonball Z: Budokai 3.There is no mention of Budokai 2 in the collection, but we’re guessing that’s because of how similar it is to the third game. The HD collection will feature enhanced, remastered visuals and full trophy/achievement...

Each year sees a new Dragonball Z game hit our consoles in a bright, flashy, shouty manner, and fans can rest assured that 2012 will be no different. What IS different this time around is that YOU are the controller, as Dragonball Z for Kinect blasts onto the Xbox 360 in October. We got to see a preview of the upcoming title at the MCM Expo. Dragonball Z for Kinect is aesthetically very much like last year’s title, Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi,...

DragonBall Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi hands on

DragonBall Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi hands on
It’s October and it means that once again the Super Saiyans are here at MCM Expo! The demo of DragonBall Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi that’s available features eight playable characters: Goku, Super Saiyan Goku, Android 18, Frieza, Cell, Trunks (sword), Broly and Vegeta. I decided to pick my personal favourite matchup and do battle as Super Saiyan Goku against Cell. A cutscene at the start of the battle kicks it off to a good pace, and the...
