TOPP DOGG’s Hansol shows his dance skills in “Scissorhands”
The Japanese dance scene is one that is forever faithful to traditional genres and movement, but continues to elaborate and evolve its own language of dance. Recently the idea of fashion and dance are joined together as a collaborative in showing your own personality and rebelling against the constraints of the social norm. Japanese models/dancers Aya and Bambi Sato are possibly the biggest thing to come from Japan’s dance scene in recent...

Exclusive Interview: VAMPS speak about their involvement with the J-rock music scene and more!
The Japanese rock scene is full of different themes and characters that fill our ears with the kind of music that is both mentally and visually stimulating. It was an extremely hot and humid day, but with bright smiles and lots of laughs before the interview within the very swanky and rock-a-licious offices at Universal Music,...

No, you didn’t read wrong: the legendary radioactive sea monster has been officially registered as a citizen of Japan, after papers were drawn up by city officials to claim him as a resident of Shinjuku, Tokyo. 5,000 copies of these papers have been printed...

Create your own Vocaloid hologram concert with Hako Vision from ‘Something Kawaii’
Whilst walking around the traders hall at the MCM London Comic Con I noticed something very unique and very cool that every Vocaloid loving fan simply must have. Taking pride of place on the Something Kawaii stall I was intrigued by a small box which had a movie playing a Hatsune Miku hologram concert song. Above the box was placed a mobile phone which I believe the owner had placed there to keep safe – but there was more to that box than...
